Extremely wintry conditions have been experienced during the past two days and as paddock lambing has commenced on some farms, the death rate among the young lambs has been fairly heavy. The growth of pastures, which has been good during the month, has received a setback, but as turnips are plentiful there should not be a feed shortage for stock. v
