TERM EXTENDED
GOVERNOR OF MAURITIUS. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, September 10. The Colonial Office announces that Sir Wilfred Jackson, whose terni of office as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Mauritius will expire on August 30, has been asked to extend his service to enable him to complete certain outstanding tasks of importance in the colony, with which he has been closely concerned.
