STAFF APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED. (United Press Association.) Wellington, September 10. The following staff appointments in the Union Steam Ship Company are announced: — Mr A. N. Leslie, of the head office staff, to be Chief Assistant to the General Manager. Mr L. J. Warren, Auckland, to be branch manager at Rarotonga. Mr H. Whyte, the Company’s providore superintendent, resigned from September 30 owing to ill-health. Mr H. G. South, local superintending steward at Auckland, has been, appointed as his successor. Mr W. L. Ford, assistant providore superintendent, to be local superintending steward at Auckland. Mr S. G. Aimao, chief steward of the Tamahine, to be assistant to the providore superintendent.
