BIG SUM IN FEES
RETIRING COMMONWEALTH CONSULTANT. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 12.20 a.m.) Canberra, Sept 10. The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) announced the resignation of Sir Herbert Gepp from the position of Commonwealth Consultant on Development owing to his extensive private interests. Sir Herbert Gepp, in 11 years in that position, has drawn from the Commonwealth £34,000 in fees.
