THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE
BRITISH ASSOCIATION MEETS (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, September 9. The meeting of the British Association for the Advancement of Science opened to-day at Blackpool, and all branches of science were represented among the hundreds of delegates from all parts of the country. The chairman is the eminent economist, Sir Josiah Stamp, and the theme of his addresses will be “The Impact of Science on Society.”
