UNSATISFACTORY CONDITION CLAIMED. (United Press Association.) Palmerston North, September 10. At a meeting of the middle ward of the Daily Produce Board held here today the following resolutions were carried: (1) That this meeting is of the opinion that the present condition of local haarketing in New Zealand is wholly unsatisfactory and uneconomic, and that the Minister of Marketing (the Hor.. W. Nash) be urged to take immediate steps to bring about necessary reform and an equal distribution of the market among all factories. (2) That the Government be asked to fix the dates of the working year for all dairy factories for balance-sheet purposes. (3) That in the event of there being a surplus in the Marketing Board’s accounts at the end of the year, it be paid to the producers as a cash bonus.
