FIRE-FIGHTING IN LONDON
UP-TO-DATE EQUIPMENT. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, August 5. The London Fire Brigade _is reequipping every department with the most up-to-date fire-fighting appliances. It has arranged for the delivery shortly of three turn-table ladders, each with a 500 gallon motor pump. A crew of five is required to man each unit, which can be made ready for action in half a minute.
