The Automobile Association (Southland) advises motorists who intend proceeding to Dunedin for the Ranfurly Shield match that in view of the extra trains that will be running between Invercargill and Dunedin on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday they should take all precautions at railway crossings en route. There will be two special trains from Invercargill on Friday night, four specials on Saturday morning in addition to the express, and a corresponding number of trains returning from Dunedin. Railway crossings at which care needs to be taken are just before Pukerau, Waipahi, Clinton, Wairuna and Lovell’s Flat.
