Cunningham, I. W. Martin and J. A. Edwards. Mr Martin reported that the conference between Otago and Southland interests on the question of the recall of the Waikaka Club from West Otago to Eastern Southland had not eventuated, owing to the late arrival of the Eastern delegates and the non-arrival of the Waikaka delegate. An informal discussion had been held and the question postponed until next season. It was unlikely that any change in the boundaries would be made. The secretary of the Pukerau Club wrote expressing regret that F. Ward had been played before his transfer from Pirates (Invercargill) was granted. A clearance had been received, and as the club was short of players on that day, he had been permitted to play. University Match.

The secretary of the Otago University Club wrote suggesting September 2 as the most suitable date for a match with Eastern Southland at Gore. It was decided to accept the date.

It was decided to offer to visit West Otago on September 9. It was decided to play the final of the third-grade competition between Pioneer and Mataura next Wednesday and close the competition. Gore High School was declared the winner of the fourth grade competition. A match between High School and Pioneer was set down for next Wednesday.
