Thornburg

MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB The weekly shoot of tire Thornbury Miniature Rifle Club was fired in the hall, 15 men being present. As this was the first time the women had shot they were allowed to rest the rifle. Mrs J. Linscott, with a score of 79, won the first prize. The shooting of the men as a whole was of a lower standard than usual. The best score off the rifle was registered by G. Buchanan, with 79. Following are the women’s scores: Mrs J. Linscott, 79; Miss L. Hopcroft, 74; Miss N. Fallow, 73; Miss K. Fallow, 72; Miss D. Thompson, 71; Mrs H. Haywood, 61; Miss M. McLean, 57. Following are the men’s scores: G. Buchanan, 79; V. McFarlane, 76; H. Haywood, 75; M. Fallow, 75; D. Fallow, 75; O. Fallow, 75; J. McLean, 74; J. Ronald, 74; C. McFarlane, 74; T. Christie, 73; A. Black, 71; J. Robertson, 69; F. Hill, 67; A.
