Lumsden Notes

Miss T. Tomlin has returned from a visit to Winton. . Miss M. Jack, Invercargill, is the guest of her sister, Mrs L. Barraclough. Miss M. McNamee, Athol, was the guest of Mrs W. G. Menlove this week. Miss B. Varcoe, who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs L. Menzies, left for Timaru during the week. Mrs J Harrison, Parawa, who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs E. Latham, has returned home. Mrs A. Brotherston and family, of Eglinton Valley, are the guests of Mrs W. Brotherston, Lumsden. Mrs W. G. Clark, Winton, paid a visit to Lumsden during the week and was the guest of her mother, Mrs J. Tom--lUMrs W. H. Ward, Castlerock, who was a delegate to the Conference of the Women’s Division of the Farmers Union, has returned.
