Riverton Notes
Miss Austin, Dunedin, is staying at the Aparima Hotel. Miss Winton, Invercargill, spent the week-end in Riverton. Mr and Mrs A. R. Foster, Invercargill, spent the week-end at Riverton. Mr and Mrs George Keeler have been visiting Invercargill. Mr and Mrs Restall have taken up residence in South Riverton.
Miss M. Simpson has returned from a short visit to Invercargill. Mrs V. A. Winton, Tawanui, has returned after a short visit to Riverton. Miss V. de Clifford, Invercargill, has been visiting her parents at Riverton.
Mr and Mrs J. Mclntyre, of Christchurch, are visiting Riverton and the surrounding districts. Mr and Mrs J. Pearsey and their family have taken up residence at Round Hill. Mrs M. Mamane and Miss M. Marnane have returned from a holiday in Wellington. Mr and Mrs J. A. Forbes, Mataura Island, have been visiting Mr and Mrs John Crawford, Beach Road. Mrs Hawkes and Miss R. Connell
have returned from a short holiday in Invercargill. Mr and Mrs James Dawson, Dunedin, who have been visiting Riverton, returned home on Saturday. Miss Humphries has relinquished her duties on the Wallace Hospital nursing staff, and has left for Mataura. Miss D. Galloway, who has been on the teaching staff of the High School, has received an appointment at Geraldine and leaves shortly to take up duties there. s
