FREEZING WORKERS’ DISPUTE

CASE REFERRED TO ARBITRATION COURT. (United Press Association.) Wellington, July 21.

A sitting of the Conciliation Council held this morning failed to reach a settlement in the dispute between the Otago and Southland freezing workers and employers, and, following the precedent set by recent proceedings in Wellington, the matter was referred to the Arbitration Court.
