MRS J. S. NEVILLE. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, February 11. The death of Mrs J. S. Neville, J.P., wife of the Town Clerk of Christchurch, occurred early this morning. SIR CHARLES BALLANCE. EMINENT SURGEON. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, February 10 The death is announced of Sir Charles Ballance, the eminent medical authority. Sir Charles Ballance, K.C.M.G., was a noted surgeon. He was consulting surgeon to the British Army and to St. Thomas’s Hospital, and a former president of the Medical Society of London. He was the author of several books on surgery. He was 80 years of age.
