THE ZANZIBAR RIOTS

NORMAL CONDITIONS BEING RESTORED. 14 PERSONS UNDER ARREST. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, February 10. An official telegram received at the Colonial Office from Zanzibar states that there is no truth in the report that 75 Arabs who participated in the recent rioting were imprisoned in the Government steamer. The casualties among the rioters were four killed or died of wounds and two wounded. There were 14 persons at present under arrest. Normal conditions were gradually being restored. The casualties among the officials and the police were two dead and 13 injured.
