CROPS DAMAGED
HAIL-STORM AT FEILDING.
(Per United Press Association.)
Feilding, November 8. A terrific hail-storm passed over a narrow strip of country last night, doing much damage to fruit trees, crops and vegetable gardens. The hail lav on the ground like snow for several hours after sunrise. Continuous wet weather is seriously retarding the farming operations, shearing, etc. This spring has a record for rain. _
