TENNIS CHAMPION
PERRY ORDERED TO REST.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.20 p.m.) Sydney, November 7. Fred Perry was X-rayed and the photographs revealed that the muscles of his back were badly torn. Doctors ordered a complete rest. Perry is bitterly disappointed. He intends to keep faith with his tennis engagements here even if compelled to play below his usual standard.
