The Tamatea makes her weekly run to Stewart Island to-day, leaving at 10.15 a.m. She returns late in the afternoon to Bluff. The Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Waitaki finished working on Monday night and sailed early yesterday morning for Dunedin. The Shell Company’s motor tanker Paua, which has been discharging oil and loading timber at Bluff, finished working early yesterday afternoon and sailed a little later to return to Wellington. The Canterbury Shipping Company’s motor ship Breeze, after discharging general cargo and loading for the north, sailed for Dunedin shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday. Her departure left the wharf clear of outside shipping. The Waimarino sailed from Wellington at 6.30 p.m. on Monday for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. She is due here to-morrow morning and sails in the evening for Dunedin. The Waipiata sails from Auckland on Friday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. She is due on the 14th and sails the same day for Dunedin.

Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that its motor ship Waipawa. en route from London to Dunedin. Lyttelton and Nelson, has cleared Balboa. She is due at Dunedin on November 18. . A , „ . En route from San Francisco the Union Company’s R.M.S. Makura was due at Rarotonga on Monday. The vessel should reach Wellington on November 11. She will leave there again the following day for Sydney'. Advice has been received by Kempthorne. Prosser and Company, Ltd., that the Japanese steamer Yufuku Maru sailed from Japan on October 20 and will arrive at Auckland about November 12. The vessel has a cargo of 5500 tons of bulk sulphur for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton and Castlecliff. The British and Burmese Steam Navigation Company’s vessel Mandalay sailed from Nauru Island last Wednesday for Auckland. She has a cargo of 8150 tons of phosphates and will arrive at Auckland on November 10, proceeding later to Wanganui. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. .
