FRUITLESS SEARCH

AIRMAN STILL MISSING. (Per United Press Association.) Waipukurau, August 10. With the exception that cold wind prevailed yesterday conditions were favourable for the search for Hamish Armstrong, the missing airman. Messrs R. B. Simmons and H. Adams returned last evening to Wakarara base. There is no fresh news from the two official parties or a third party which went out on Thursday and returned to Shuteye Shack, Ruahine, yesterday. It is beautiful weather still in central Hawkes Bay.
