OBITUARY

BRIGADIER-GENERAL JOHN LAMROCK.

(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.5 p.m.) Sydney, July 19. The death is announced of BrigadierGeneral John Lamrock. Until recently he was secretary of the Moorfield Racing Club.

Brigadier-General John Lamrock was born in 1859, and was educated at Sydney Grammar School. He .was a farmer and an engineer, and was also a qualified company secretary. He served in the Great War from 1914 to 1916 in a staff position, and was decorated with the Order of Commander of the Bath (military).
