GENERAL NOTES. Weather permitting ,the Tamatea sails on her weekly trip to Stewart Island at 10.15 a.m. to-day and returns in the late afternoon. The Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Waikoualti finished working on Monday night and sailed early yesterday morning for Sydney. The Breeze is due from Wellington on June 24. She sails the same day for Wellington, The Union Company’s Walpiata was to sail from Lyttelton at 3 p.m. yesterday for Dunedin and Bluft. She is due here to-morrow, and sails In the evening for Dunedin. The Waitaki is to leave Oamaru to-day for Bluft where she arrives on Thursday morning. She sails in the afternoon for Melbourne. The Wainui is expected to leave Wellington on Friday for Bluft direct. She is due on Sunday and sails on Monday for Dunedin. The Waikoualti is expected to leave Sydney on ths 27th for Bluft direct. She; should reach here on July 2 and sail the same day for Dunedin. The Japanese motor ship Sydney ,Maru sailed from Moji, Japan, on June 2 for Auckland, via Australia and Wellington. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on July 11 and to sail for Japan, via Sydney and Brisbane, the same day. The Walruna Is due at Auckland about June 30 from Pacific coast ports and Cook Islands. The vessel will unload fruit from Cook Islands at Auckland and cargo from Pacific coast ports at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. The Federal Line steamer Cambridge arrived on Saturday morning at Port Chalmers from Glasgow and Liverpool, via Panama, Auckland. Wellington and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the George Street wharf, Port Chalmers, where the local portion of

her Home Cargo will be discharged. The Cambridge left Liverpool on April 20, and arrived at Auckland on May 31. She is to sail on Thursday for New Plymouth to complete discharge and commence Homeward loading. The vessel will also load at Opua. Auckland. Gisborne, Napier, Wanganui and Wellington. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on July 13 for London and West coast ports of Great Britain. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE.
