Miss D. O'Brien is spending a holiday in the North Island. Mr and Mrs Woodfield and Master Woodfield, Oxford, Canterbury, are the guests of the Rev. and Mrs H. J. Malcolm.
Mr and Mrs R. Paterson, Dunedin, were the guests of Mr and Mrs M. Mclvor and Mr and Mrs R. Donnelly (Wairio), during the week. Miss de Joux, Timaru, who has been spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs A. Beange, has returned home. Mr and Mrs F. D. O’Rourke, Pleasant Point, are spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs H. Smyth and Mr and Mrs G. McMillan.
Mrs H. D. Irving and family are spending a holiday at The Rocks. Miss A. Thomson returned from her holiday on Wednesday evening. Mr J. Simpson, of the local Post and Telegraph staff, left on Friday morning to spend his annual leave in Dunedin and Canterbury; Mrs Len Malcolm and son (Isla Bank), Mrs Ernie Malcolm and daughter (Heddon Bush), Miss Livingstone and Mr W. Gill (Winton) are spending a holiday at The Rocks. Mr and Mrs A. Fisher are spending a few days in Queenstown. Mrs Gardiner is the guest of Mr and Mrs A. J. Timpany. Mrs W. H. Whyborn, Dunedin, has been the guest of Mrs T. J. Walker. Mrs Webb, Aparima, is spending a few days in Riverton as the guest of Mrs Armstrong. Mesdames W. Finnegan and Keith and Miss Finnegan are holidaying at The Rocks.
Mr and Mrs Johnston, Horriville, Rangiora, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs J. G. Paterson, Queen street. Miss Lily Maxwell has returned from a visit to Gore, where she was staying with Mr and Mrs Ivan Henry. Mrs J. Maxwell, Miss R. Salton, Messrs W. and A. Maxwell left during the week on a camping tour of the Eglinton Valley and Central Otago. Mrs S. Mann, Christchurch, and Mrs Ford are staying with Mrs T. Lardner, Wairio.
Misses D. Mills and F. Chilton have returned from their holiday at The Rocks.
