POLICY CHANGED
' SWISS SOCIALIST PARTY. NATIONAL DEFENCE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Lucerne, January 27. The Swiss Socialist Party by 362 votes to 294 decided in favour of a policy of national defence, thereby aligning themselves with the Belgian and Dutch Socialists in abandoning the pacifist standpoint against armaments and militarization. This change in policy is attributed to the trend of events in Germany. > .
