DISABLED VALVERDA.

(British Official Wireless.) Rugby, January 26. H.M.S. Frobisher which, with H.M.S. Guardian, has been standing by the British tanker Valverda which was disabled by fire in the Atlantic, has now taken her in tow and is proceeding to Bermuda. Earlier attempts to do so had been frustrated by heavy weather. The Frobisher reports that the Valverda is not very manageable as the latter’s rudder is out of action, but it is hoped to repair this to-day. The Guardian is proceeding to St. Lucia.
