RAILWAY WORKERS
CONCILIATION AGREEMENTS. SATISFACTORY CONCLUSION. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, January 22. A satisfactory conclusion was reached to the discussions between representatives of the leading railway companies and railway men’s unions upon the reorganization of the existing machinery of concilation and negotiation. A proposal was unanimously agreed upon which will be recommended to both sides for adoption. The agreement concerns 400,000 railway workers and deals with all questions arising out of the conditions of sendee and makes suitable provision for the discussion of matters of mutual interest to the staff and management.
