CHARGE OF ARSON

DUNEDIN FIRE. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, January 19. In the Police Court this morning, Henry Watt, aged 40, a relative of the firm, was charged with wilfully setting fire to A. and J. Watt’s warehouse. He was remanded till Friday. Counsel stated that it was questionable whether accused was fit to plead, and asked that he be medically examined. This affair sprang from a mind seething with a grievance over a long period. Accused said he knew what he did but could not resist it.
