GENERAL NOTES. The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno is due at Bluff from Melbourne late this afternoon. The same company’s cargo steamer Waimarino finished working on Friday night and sailed early on Saturday morning for Dunedin. The Breeze has been delayed and will arrive from Lyttelton on Wednesday. She sails the same day for Dunedin. The Waikouaitl sailed from Port Kembla on Thursday for Melbourne and Bluff. She is expected to leave Melbourne on Monday and Is due here on Saturday. The vessel sails on Monday for Dunedin. The Canadian Cruiser is reported to have reached New York en route from New Zealand to Boston and Halifax. She sailed from Lyttelton on October 27. The Sydney Maru was scheduled to leave Japan a few days ago for Australian ports. Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington about January 4 and at Auckland three days later. The Federal Line Steamer Cambridge left Falmouth for New Zealand ■in ballast on November 17 to load for Great Britain. She is due in Nev/ Zealand about January 2. With cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain, the Federal Line steamer Northumberland is to leave Liverpool on December 15 for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland on January 23. The Royal Mail liner Niagara has left Vancouver for Auckland and Sydney, via Honolulu and Suva. The vessel is due at Auckland on December 23 and she is to sail for Sydney the following day. The Golden State was scheduled to leave Los Angeles a few days ago with cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland. Wellington and Australian ports. She is due at Auckland on December 27. The liner Strathnaver has arrived at Fremantle from London. She is due at Sydney on December 13, via Southern Australian ports, and from there proceeds to Brisbane, Auckland, and Wellington in the course of a pleasure cruise. She is due at Auckland on December 21, and at Wellington on December 24. PORT CAMPBELL AT BLUFF. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Campbell, which arrived 'at Bluff from Dunedin on Saturday morning to continue her loading for the Home market, left Liverpool for New Zealand and came out vla'New York and Kingston (Jamaica). At Bluff she will load approximately 9000 crates of cheese, 1000 boxes of butter, 1250 carcasses of frozen meat and a quantity of general cargo. She is expected to complete and sail to-morrow for Gisborne, Wellington and Lyttelton, the latter being her final port on the present voyage.
