CORRESPONDENCE

A PROTEST. To the Editor. Sir, —Circulars advertising the public showing of a wax-figure of Bayly at the forthcoming Royal Show are being sent around the town. This, Sir, is nothing more or less than an insult to the intellect of all decent-minded people. In the interests of the public alone (i.e., psychologically) this disgusting show should be prohibited. Are there any who are willing to back up my contention or am I merely “a voice crying in the wilderness”?—l am, etc. “DECENCY.”
