THREE GIRLS SLAIN
FOUND DEAD IN BEDS. SEARCH FOR FATHER. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.0 p.m.) Sydney, December 6 A terrible crime was revealed at Finley, Southern New South Wales. Three girls, aged 15, 10 and 4, all daughters of J. V. Dole, a farm labourer, were found dead in ther beds, their throats having been slashed with a razor which, bloodstained, was discovered by the police. The first news of the tragedy was received by a local doctor, Dr E. A. Eddy, who received a mysterious telephone message requesting him to visit the house. The doctor informed the police, who immediately began a search for the father, as little information could be obtained from the mother, who was prostrated with grief. A fourth daughter, aged 12, was unharmed. FATHER CHARGED WITH MURDER.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.45 p.m.) Sydney, December 6. The police discovered the dead girls’ father, John Vincent Dole, aged 42, in a wool shed a hundred yards from the house with a wound on his wrist. He has been arrested and charged with the murder of his three daughters.
