PUBLIC WORKS SCHEME
EXPENDITURE OF £3,000,000. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Canberra, December 5 A State-wide programme of works embodying water supply and sewerage schemes, road construction and irrigation, the cost of which is estimated to exceed £3,000,000, has been presented to the Parliamentary Under-Secretdry for Employment, Mr F. H. Stewart, by the New South Wales Minister of Labour, Mr J. Dunningham. Mr Stewart will submit the programme to the Federal Cabinet for its approval.
