Visiting golfers are practising for the Centenary championship, which opens on Monday. A. J. Shaw (New Zealand) with a brilliant 70 had the best round of the day, playing all his shots perfectly and hitting very long woods. J. Kirkwood did 72 and Gene Sarazen 73.
