BIBLE IN SCHOOLS

FURTHER DISCUSSION ON BILL. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, November 6. Further consideration of the Religious Exercises in Schools Bill is to be postponed until February next. In the House of Representatives today, Mr A. J. Stallworthy asked the Rt, Hon. G. W. Forbes whether he would fulfill his promise and give the House an opportunity of passing the measure before the rising of the House. “That opportunity will be given before the session terminates,” Mr Forbes replied, “but it will not be possible to do so before the adjournment.”
