HIGH COMMISSIONER
SIR JAMES PARR’S TERM. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, October 10. The hope that Sir James. Parr will be able to accept an extension of his term as High Commissioner for New Zealand in London was expressed by the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes when interviewed last evening. Sir James he said was thoroughly conversant with the market problems engaging attention at present and as he knew them from the New Zealand side and had dealt with them in. London during the year he would be the best possible representative for the Dominion in the discussions now pending. The Government, Mr Forbes said, was anxious not to have to make a change in the representation until the troublesome outstanding questions had been settled.
