The monthly sitting of the Warden’s Court at Riverton yesterday was presided over by Mr E. C. Lewy, S.M., Warden. The following applications were dealt with:— Wilfred Murray and W. Jordan, ordinary prospecting licenses in respect of 20 acres at Round Hill, in block X, Longwood.—Granted. David J. Wesney, dam, situated in section 45, block 1, Longwood S.D.— Recommended. Round Hill Gold-Mining Company, ordinary prospecting license in respect of 100 acres in section 18, block 10, Longwood.—Adjourned until October 2. D. J. Wesney, ordinary prospecting license of 20 acres, in section 42, block 1, Longwood.—Adjourned until October 2. G. W. Ericson, prospecting license, 20 acres at Orepuki in sections 13, block 3, Longwood.—Granted. Pollard Bros., license for a special alluvial claim of 28 acres at Round Hill, Longwood, for a term of 21 years. —Recommended. W. Allison, W. J. Taylor and James McDermott, ordinary prospecting license, 80 acres at Pahia, being part of sections 65 and 68, block 5, Longwood.— Granted. W. Allison and party, prospecting license 28 acres at Pahi, being part of section 68, block 5, Longwood.— Granted. R. C. Turnbull, prospecting license; 50 acres, Blackmount, Takitimo District.—Granted. Pahia Gold-Mining Company, prospecting licenses, 100 acres, being part section 70, block 5, Longwood.—Recommended. Pahia Gold-Mining Company prospecting license, 100 acres, being part of section 70, block 5, Longwood.—Recommended.
