ALDERSHOT TATTOO
70,000 CHILDREN TAKING PART. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, June 13. Nearly 70,000 school children, brought by 31 special trains and hundreds of motor coaches from all over the country, attended a dress rehearsal at Rushman arena, Aidershot, of the annual tattoo. Nearly 5000 troops are taking part in the pageant and the scenes forming the programme are at least as striking as those which made this event one of the most popular features of the season.
