SUPREME COURT

GREYMOUTH SITTING. (Per United Press Association.) Greymouth, June 12. Reginald Louis Machu came up for sentence in the Supreme Court on a charge of negligent driving of a car and causing bodily harm to a youthful cyclist on May 19 whilst intoxicated. Mr Justice Herdman imposed a fine of £25 and cancelled his license for 12 months. George White was placed on 12 months’ probation on a charge of receiving stolen shoes at Hokitika.
