A rather complicated but original windscreen wiper has been placed on the English market in the form of a fitting which not only keeps the screen free from rain drops, but also serves as a cleaner. The blade of this instrument incorporates a hollow tube, through which a fine spray of water is projected by a pump from the cooling system of the engine. This enabled mud and dust that sometimes tollect to be washed off, simply by pressing a button affixed to the steering column.
