THE SOUTHLAND ASSOCIATION. MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Southland Motor Association was held last evening, the president (Mr D. J. Wesney) presiding over Messrs F. G. O’Beirne, J. R. Haigh, A. J. Campbell, M. M. Macdonald, A. E. Wish, G. Tapper, J. D. Gilmore, N. A. Pearce, J. Pickard, L. B. Hutton, S. Smith, A. M. Macdonald, A. E. Lea, N. J. Dolamore, A. C; Ford and Dr. S. Brown.
Eighteen new members were elected. The Seaward Downs School Committee wrote thanking the association for the erection of a sign beside the school. It was resolved to write congratulating the Wallace County Council upon the road surfaces within its boundaries.
