COLAC BAY NOTES

(From Our Correspondent.)

On Friday, December 20, an enjoyable dance was held in the Murihiku Hall. Music was supplied by Messrs J. D. Gregg and McKay (2) while extras were played by Mrs H. Davis. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr M. Belsham. The Drill Hall Committee held an enjoyable dance on Saturday, December 30. Music was supplied by Messrs Gregg and Beadle, while Mr K. McLeod (Invercargill) supplied extras on the bagpipes. Mr D. Wadsworth was M.C. Personal Notes. Mr and Mrs Mills and family returned to Ohai on Friday after spending a vacation at Colac. Mr Fred Belsham has returned to Bluff after spending the Christmas and New Year holidays with Mr and Mrs F. Belsham, Point Road. Mr Baird, of Kapuka, visited Colac during the week. Mr and Mrs Shore, Dunedin, visited Colac during the holidays and were the guests of Mr and Mrs E. Shore. Mr and Mrs Wesney, Invercargill, spent the Christmas and New Year holidays at the crib at Colac. Mr and Mrs Graham, Invercargill, also spent the holidays at the crib at Colac. Mr and Mrs Kilpatrick and family, Invercargill, are holidaying at Colac. Mr I. Laurie has returned to Clifden after spending the Christmas holidays at Colac.

Mr and Mrs McDonald and Miss Matheson, returned to Dunedin during the week.
