(From Our. Correspondent). Mr R. Tuck, Dunedin, was the guest of Mr W. Tuck, Wyndham, during the h °MisTs H. and M. Baird Wyndham, were the guests of Mr and Mrs C B. Rout, “Ngahiri” Stewart Island over the vacation. , Mr M. R. S.' Milburn, Wyndham, spent the holidays with his parents at Waianiwa. Mrs M. F. Woods and Miss Woods, Invercargill, were the guests of Mrs Coleman, Ferry street, during New M. and O. Malcolmson, Dunedin were the guests of their parents Mr and Mrs W. Malcolmson, Alma street, during the holidays. Mrs N. McEwan and Miss R. McEwan, Dunedin who have been visiting Wyndham have returned north. Miss Isobel Strang, Alma street, Wyndham, is at present visiting Dunedin. , _ Mr and Mrs Alen Mcßeath, Oamaru, are at present visiting friends in the Wyndham District. . Mr and Mrs L. B. Borrow, Mosgiel, and Mr R. S. Wilson, Mosgiel were visitors to Wyndham during the week. Mrs W. I. Barnett, Wyndham, who has been visiting Woodlands has returned home. Mr R. Chalmers, Balclutha, paid a visit to Wyndham during the week. Mr W. Hansen, of the local staff of Dalgety and Co. Ltd., has been transferred to Invercargill and will be succeeded by Mr James’McKay of Glenham as junior clerk. Mr John Murray, Balclutha, was the guest of Mr and Mrs Alex Ross, Ferry street, during the week. Mr and Mrs D. Pope, Riverton, were the guests of friends in Wyndham during the week. Mr and Mrs F. Russell, Dunedin, were the guests of Mr and Mrs D. N. A. Macpherson, Alma street, Wyndham, over the holidays. * Mr W. Sinclair of Invercargill, the new manager of the N.Z. Loan and M.A. Co., at Wyndham, has arrived in Wyndham and commenced duties on Thursday. Mrs and Miss Manson, Hokitika, are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. J. Currie, Balaclava street. Father Bell, S.M. of Silvertown, Wellington is the guest of Mr and Mrs P. Walsh, Menzies Ferry. Mr and Mrs James McDonald, and Mrs Mclntosh, Invercargill, were the guests of relatives over the holidays in Wyndham. Mr and Mrs P. B. Courtis, Timaru, paid a short visit to Wyndham during the week.

Miss Wright, Dacre, and Miss G. Anderson, Edendale, are at present holidaying in the North Island. Miss E. Tither, Dunedin, is visiting her parents Mr and Mrs Daniel Tither, Edendale. Misses P., H. and T. Milne, Dunedin, are visiting their parents, Mr and Mrs R. Milne, Wyndham. Miss Ruth Spence, Wellington, who has been visiting Mrs M. Tangney, Ferry street, has returned North. Mr J. Johnstone, Wyndham, was the guest of Mr and Mrs M. Milburn, Waianiwa, for a few days during the holidays. Mr and Mrs Pensler, Dunedin, are the guests of Mr and Mrs F. Ball, Ferry street, Wyndham. Mr H. Milne and Miss E. . Milne, Auckland, are visiting Mrs A. Simpson, “Bon Accord,” Wyndham. Mrs B. Cunningham, Matamata, Auckland, is visiting relatives in Wyndham. Mr J. F. Lines, Wyndham, visited Oamaru over the holidays. Mr J. B. Macpherson, Foxton, who has been visiting Wyndham, has returned north.

Mr and Mrs J. M. Wilson, School House, Wyndham, leave early next week for the north on holiday vacation. Mr and Mrs Hellyer and family, Dunedin, are the guests of Mr and Mrs D. Crawford, Wyndham. Mr C. W. Rout, Wyndham, spent the holidays at Stewart Island. Mr A. A. Heydon, Dunedin, who has been visiting his parents, has returned north. Mr and Mrs W. Jones, Dunedin, have returned north after spending the holidays with Mr and Mrs A. H. Jones, Balaclava street. Mr and Mrs Robert Richardson, Wyndham, are holidaying in the North Island.

Mr and Mrs N. Hawkes, Timaru, are at present visiting Wyndham, and are the guests of Mr W. J. Marsh, Balaclava street. Mr and Mrs J. D. Tunnicliffe, Wellington, are at present visiting Wyndham and are the guests of Mr F. C. Milne, Factory House, Wyndham. Miss Marion Sommerville, Mabel Bush, is the guest of Miss Lily Milne, Factory House, Wyndham. Mrs Riley, Dunedin, was the guest of Mr and Mrs W. J. Currie, Wyndham, over the holidays. Messrs G. Baird and R. Harris, Dunedin, were the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Malcolmson, Alma street, over the holidays. Mr Peter McEwan, Dunedin, is the guest of Mr and Mrs Arthur Gibson, Wyndham. Mr Allan Baird, Invercargill, was the guest of Mr and Mrs E. J. Traynor, Wyndham, over the holidays. Mrs F. Delaney, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs Coleman, Ferry street, Wyndham. Mr Allan Davey, Dunedin, is at present visiting his parents, Mr and Mrs C. E. Davey, Alma street.

Miss Wright, Palmerston, who has been visiting Mr and Mrs W. Diack, Glenham, has returned north. Miss Thornley, Invercargill, is at present visiting Mr and Mrs J. Scott, Glenham.

Miss Marnell, Christchurch, is a visitor to Glenham as the guest of Mr and Mrs E. Marnell.

Miss Russell, Dunedin, is the guest of Mr and Mrs J. Duffy, Glenham. Messrs G. Johnstone (Wyndham), R. Johnstone (Oamaru), A. N. Macdonald (Balfour), and L. G. Townsend (Tuturau) spent a week’s fishing expedition at Lake Mavora over the holidays.
