Sydney, December 20. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s monoplane, the Codock, is expected to be ready for its trials early in February. Sir Charles, accompanied by Captain Taylor and Messrs Stannage and Pethybridge, flies to New Zealand in the Southern Cross on January 15. He will return to Sydney by steamer in February to put the Codock through its test flights, returning to New Zealand by steamer to continue passenger flights through the Dominion in the Southern Cross. Captain White’s companion in the Codock will be Commander Bennett as navigator and wireless operator.
