The final matches of the first round in the Combined Districts’ tennis competition were played last week. The weather conditions have been very favourable for Wednesday evening games, no matches having to be postponed during the first half of the season. Woodlands, Hedgehope and Tussock Creek are even on points, each having suffered one defeat. Then come St. Thomas’s and Lochiel. Following are details of last week’s matches:— LOCHIEL v. GROVE BUSH.
