Playing on the Seaward Downs courts, Seaward Downs beat Mokotua in a B grade match in the Lower Mataura Tennis Association’s competition on December 16. Following are the results with Seaward Downs names first:—

The final matches of the first round in the Combined Districts’ tennis competition were played last week. The weather conditions have been very favourable for Wednesday evening games, no matches having to be postponed during the first half of the season. Woodlands, Hedgehope and Tussock Creek are even on points, each having suffered one defeat. Then come St. Thomas’s and Lochiel. Following are details of last week’s matches:— LOCHIEL v. GROVE BUSH.
