TASMAN FLIGHT NEXT MONTH.
SOUTHERN CROSS COMING.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, December 19. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith will fly the Southern Cross to New Zealand about the middle of January. The new monoplane which is being built at the Cockatoo Dockyard will not be ready then owing to delay in the delivery of the engines, but if the plane, gives •satisfactory results in the tests it -will be flown to ’New Zealand later. Sir Charles will pilot the Southern Cross and Captain Taylor will be navigator. The new monoplane will be flown by Captain Trevor White with Mr Bennett as navigator.
