FREEMASONRY OPPOSED
GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH. (United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright.) Athens, October 24. Arising out of the newspapers’ allegation that the Metropolitan of Athens is a Freemason, the Holy Synod has decreed that no member of the Orthodox Church may enter Freemasonry, which is a separate religion, and any priest declining to renounce his membership of the craft will be unfrocked.
