LOSS EXCEEDS £3,000,000. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.10 n.m.) Sydney, September 27. The New South Wales Railways showed a loss for the year ended June 30 of £3,360,482 after allowing £6,352,581 for interest on capital outlay arid £1,191,937 for exchange. The figures disclose an improvement for the year of £1,204,123, despite freight and other reductions.
