BRITAIN’S REVENUE
LATEST TREASURY RETURNS. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 26. The latest Treasury returns show that ordinary revenue for the current financial year up to September 23 amounted to £268,113,307. At the corresponding date last year the amount stood at £261,860,885. The ordinary expenditure to date for the current year totalled £346,007,032, which is about £32,000,000 less than the total ordinary expenditure at the corresponding date last year.
