THE NEW ZEALAND LEGION.

To the Editor. Sir,—lt is some months now since I listened to an address by Dr Campbell Begg in the Victoria Hall on the origin and aims of the New Zealand Legion. Since then I have been waiting to see some forward move made by the organization in this district. Apart, however, from some short reports in your paper of country meetings nothing has appeared to indicate that anything is being done. Is it possible that the light has already failed? There is another possible explanation which occurs to the ordinary man, namely, that there is nothing but froth in the movement; that its members are the New Order of Frothblowers. Unfortunately for the members of the N.0.0.F. the inspiration usually found beneath the froth appears to be absent.—l am, etc., ORDINARY MAN.
