On Wednesday, June 21, a wedding of local interest was selemnized in the Riverton Presbyterian Church, which was artistically decorated for the occasion with flowers and greenery. Miss May Robertson presided at the organ, while the officiating minister was the Rev. A. Macfarlane.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, looked charming in a frock of ivory ring velvet, which fell in long, graceful folds to her ankles. The sleeves were draped and the back of the bodice was relieved at the waistline by a flat bow. Her long tulle veil was arranged with orange blossom and she carried a bouquet of pink and white chrysanthemums and maiden-hair fern. Miss Allie Fraser, who attended as bridesmaid, wore an ankle-length frock of cherry-red velvet, the large bow at the waistline having a bustle effect. A white velvet cape, with high collar lined with red, white hat with touches of red, white elbow-length gloves, and red shoes, completed a very effective toilette.
