FOUND DEAD IN GARAGE. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, June 14. William Lindsay McLeod, a single man, 30 years of age, a labourer, who lived with his mother at Green Island, was found in a garage at his home this afternoon with his throat cut. He had apparently locked himself in the garage and was dead when found. A SUDDEN DEATH. (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, June 14. John Watton, aged 70, r general labourer, employed by the Waikohu County Council, was found dead in the council’s yard at Te Karaka this afternoon. Death is believed to be due to heart trouble. Deceased was a married man with a grown up family.
