CONFLICT IN SPAIN. RELIGIOUS ORDERS ACT. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Madrid, June 11. The Episcopacy is considering the possible excommunication of Government officials and deputies who vyere responsible for the new Religious Orders Act. It is believed that President Zamora, who attended Mass as usual two days after signing the Act, will not be excommunicated inasmuch as he did not consciously attempt any crime against the Church’s divine liberty, but opposed the insertion of an article compelling the passage of the Bill. The Papal Nuncio will shortly confer with the Pope regarding the situation the law has created.
